The shop behind the countertop
Pro Granite is a fabrication business first. We buy the slab, cut it, polish it and set it — which is why there is one crew to call and one person who answers the phone.
Juan started it, and he is still on the job
Juan Ramirez founded Pro Granite LLC in 2018, after roughly a decade cutting and setting stone for other people. The proposition was not complicated: do the work properly, quote it honestly, and turn up on the day you said you would.
It grew the way that kind of business grows — by referral, and by the same contractors calling back. Several hundred fabrication and installation projects later, it still runs on the same crew, and Juan is still the name customers use when they talk about the job afterwards.

In 2026 we added Cabinet Pros and the Granby showroom. Countertops and cabinets are the two decisions in a kitchen that have to agree with each other, and having both under one roof means a door sample can be held against the actual slab before anything is ordered.
Today that is one team for both: granite, quartz and marble fabricated in the Worcester shop, cabinets specified in Granby, and the same people setting them in your kitchen.
Three points on the line
-
Before 2018
A decade in other people’s shops
Ten years of templating, cutting and installing stone for other fabricators around Massachusetts — long enough to know exactly which corners get cut and where the complaints come from.
-
2018
Pro Granite LLC opens in Worcester
Our own saw, our own polisher, our own racks. Nothing is brokered out to a third shop, which is what lets us commit to a date and hold it.

2026
Cabinet Pros and the Granby showroom
A room where the cabinet door and the slab can be compared in the same light, and one team responsible for both halves of the kitchen.
What owning the shop actually changes
We fabricate. We do not broker.
Cutting, polishing and mitring happen in our own Worcester shop. When a slab needs a second look, it is twenty feet away rather than at a subcontractor who has your job in a queue behind four others.
One crew, template to install.
The person who measures your kitchen is on the job when it is set. Old houses are rarely square, and the notes taken on day one are worth much more when the same hands are holding the stone on the last day.
Cabinets and tops, planned together.
Ordering them separately is how you end up with an overhang that does not work and a colour that nearly matches. Specified together, they are checked against each other before either one is cut.
They keep mentioning Juan by name
Not the company, not the showroom. The same person, from the first measurement to the last seam.
Highly recommended! Juan and his teams attention to detail is unbelievable. From start to finish he makes the whole process easy. I use Progranite on all my projects. If you make the call to Progranite you won’t have to call anyone else.
Juan and his team were incredibly easy to work with and the cost was very affordable. They got the job done thoroughly, meticulously, and timely with us having 3 boys, we never had to go without a normal day at home to utilize our kitchen. I highly recommend pro granite to anyone looking for countertops!
Countertop experience was so easy under a tight timeline. Juan and team were easy to work with, very professional and very efficient. All at an affordable price. Love my new countertops

Cabinet doors, finishes and stone samples together, so the two decisions can be made in the same room.
Come and look at the actual slab.
Not a sample of it, and not a photograph. Book a time and we will walk the racks with you — and tell you what is realistic before anyone measures anything.
